Additionally, 20 Palestinian journalists are currently imprisoned in Israel.

Israel killed most of the Israeli prisoners held by the resistance to negotiate the release of Palestinians abducted by Israel. Former Israeli negotiator Nitzan Alon revealed that the Israeli army's fire was responsible for the deaths of most of the Israeli prisoners in Jabalia, northern Gaza, attributing this to what he described as widespread "intelligence gaps."
